How did you feel when you first landed this job?
I felt really blessed because I hadn't worked for so long.
How has your future changed because of this opportunity?
My future has changed because I feel like I am a working part of the community. I am giving back to the community. And not only that, I have had promotions since I was hired on.
What is your favorite item that you sell and why?
My favorite item would be the candle because it's a symbol of how love heals. We have lit this candle from day one, and we continue to keep it lit for the ladies that are coming behind us.
What's your favorite thing about working at Thistle Farms?
I enjoy being around the ladies that I was in the program with. We all have a special bond that just keeps going.
